25 Random Things About Me

It's a fad! Simply, a widely-shared enthusiasm which is short-lived and without basis in its quality. Yes, I'm talking about the things people would do simply because everyone else is doing it. Whether they truly believe in it or not. Like those damn leggings and gladiators. And just when everyone seems to be doing it, the enthusiasm slowly dies. And it would be just another thing in the past.

The latest fad going on Facebook seems to be something called a Meme. What does that even mean?! I've seen that word somewhere but could never understand why it's called a 'Meme' *weird* So, I decided to Google its definition. Apparently, it's a list of questions that you answer and pass it on to others. Then someone else answers them, and pass it on, and so on and so on. I'm sure you get the idea of it. A game of tag.

Anyhoo, I've been tagged twice on Facebook to answer a Meme - 25 Random Things About Me. Rather interesting. It got me thinking...Do I know myself well enough to list 25 random things about me? Hmms...But instead of doing it on Facebook, I'd rather do it here.

So, here's 25 Random Things About Me...

1.

I believe that as a Christian, I don't need to be pretentiously religious. It's about a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. It's about living all the days of my life in His way and according to His purpose and will. I'm glad and thankful to be a part of the Hillsong Church.

I'm so blessed to have such loving husband, parents and sister. I have to learn to treasure them more all the days of my life.

I love fresh cherries! I can eat them everday. Too good. *yum*

When I was a little kid, I used to be such a bookworm that I'll have my nose buried in a book wherever I go. Yeah, I am a nerd! And am proud of it. *woot woot*

I am a huge fan of Apple products. I can't imagine not having my iPhone, iPod, and MacBook.

Besides the occasional bright-coloured pieces in the wardrobe, majority of my clothes are black, white, grey or brown in colour. Yes, I'm colour-boring.

My favourite Australian designer is Jayson Brunsdon. I wore 3 of his dresses for my wedding and I got so totally star-struck when I met him in person. (I know I've mentioned this like hundred of times)

You may call me pretentious, materialistic, shallow or a bimbo, but I so totally can't resist temptation when it comes to anything with a designer label attached to it.

I hate it (with a passion) when people use fake designer items. What's with the desperate measure? If you can't afford the real deal, why bother with the fake? That's simply pathetic! I can't afford a Hermes birkin. But you will never see me carrying a fake!

On the same note, I get really annoyed with wannabe(s). Those who are delusional and reckon they are living a glamarous social life simply because they are invited to so-called social events. Maybe that's because they've never been invited to "real" events.

All the cars I've owned (of course bought by Mum&Dad) thus far are red in colour. Of course, by voluntary choice and conscious decision. But it just so happened. Not deliberately. Kindda contradict my colour-boring self.

I may be demanding, strong-headed and a little arrogant sometimes, but I'm such a push-over when it comes to work. Why is that so?!?!

Last year, I was stupidly persuaded into doing a photoshoot where I was later pressured into purchasing photos from the shoot. I was so proud of myself for saying "no" when being pressured to spend thousands of dollars on those damn pictures. But I still bought one for $100 just to get the lady off my case.

When I was little kid, I used to play 'pretend' by myself. I'd talk to myself and pretend I'm somebody I'm not. Like a doctor or a teacher. A neighbour thought there was something wrong with me. Perhaps, he thought I was a weird retard.

I don't understand why some bloggers love to spell out exactly who and what they are wearing. Who cares who or what they're wearing??? It's not like they're Victoria Beckham. Hmm...Maybe I should try doing the same. *note the sarcasm* Let's pick a random picture and start naming everything I was wearing.

I simply can't stand people who are superstitious! They annoy me. What's the deal with all these superstition thingies?! It's full of shit.

I miss my parents. It's sad that we're living across the oceans from each other.

I enjoy watching reality TV show. I can't get enough of American/Australian Next Top Model, Project Runway America/Australia and Borders Security. *woot* Thanks to those people who so graciously post videos of it on YouTube!

I have never owned a pet. The closest thing to having a pet was probably the few fighting fish I had ages ago. *boo*

I can't whistle. Even if my life depended on it.

I find it annoying when people can't write a decent Facebook status. In terms of grammar.
My English is far from perfect. But at least I don't say things like this...
"(Name) is have new owe laptop!!"

I used to drink a bottle of Coke a day. But I've since replaced that with a cup of coffee a day. It's really unhealthy. I know.

I try to keep people who are not a positive influence in my life, out of my life!
